OpenClaw is an open source AI agent you run yourself. With freddy added, it can read your sleep, workouts and heart rate, and you can ask it to check them on a schedule.
Before you start
You need a freddy account, at least one connected source, and OpenClaw installed. See Choose and connect a data source.
1. Add freddy
Run:
openclaw mcp set freddy '{"url":"https://freddy.coach/mcp","transport":"streamable-http","auth":"oauth"}'The URL is the same for every freddy account and contains no personal token.
2. Sign in
Run:
openclaw mcp login freddyOpenClaw prints freddy's authorization link. Open it in your browser, sign in with your freddy email code if needed, review any required Terms, Privacy and Consumer Health Data consent, and approve.
If the browser runs on another machine, or cannot reach the address OpenClaw printed, copy the code from the redirect and run openclaw mcp login freddy --code <code>.
3. Check and ask
Run openclaw mcp status --verbose to see what OpenClaw has saved, or openclaw mcp probe freddy to open a live connection and test it. Then ask your agent: “What data is available in my freddy account?”
Manage access
Remove freddy from your OpenClaw MCP config to disconnect. You can also revoke OpenClaw's OAuth grant in freddy under Connected AI.
If setup does not work
Run openclaw mcp doctor freddy --probe and check that the URL is exactly https://freddy.coach/mcp and that auth is oauth. If status says authorization is required, run openclaw mcp login freddy again. Do not paste an API key into the config when OAuth works. If it still fails, see agent troubleshooting or contact freddy support with the error text, without sending a code or token.
