freddy is now an official ChatGPT app

freddy is now an official app in the ChatGPT app directory. You can connect your sleep, training, recovery, and other health data to ChatGPT in a couple of clicks, then ask about it in any chat and get answers built on your real numbers instead of guesses.

Until now, using freddy in ChatGPT meant turning on developer mode and pasting a connector URL by hand. That step is gone. freddy is a listed app now, so you find it, connect it, and you are done. It works in ChatGPT on the web and in the ChatGPT mobile app, and it is available to any logged-in ChatGPT account.

How to connect freddy

You will need a freddy account with at least one data source connected and synced. If you have not set that up yet, start at freddy.coach. Then:

In ChatGPT, open the app directory: select Apps in the sidebar, or go to chatgpt.com/apps.
Search for freddy, open it, and select Connect.
Sign in with your freddy email and approve the read-your-health-data permission.
In a chat, turn freddy on from the plus menu or type @freddy, then ask your first question.

What you can ask

Once freddy is connected, ChatGPT can read whatever you have linked, whether that is an Oura ring, a Garmin watch, a WHOOP band, a Polar device, a CGM, or a gym log. A few prompts to try:

How did I sleep last night, and how does it compare to my average?
Summarize my last five workouts and the heart rate zones I trained in.
My resting heart rate has been climbing this week. What might be going on?

ChatGPT can also connect a new source, sync, or disconnect on your behalf, so you can manage freddy without leaving the conversation.

freddy is read-only on every account you connect, and you can revoke access at any time. Your tokens and health data are encrypted at rest, and freddy never sells or trains on your data.
