What's new in freddy: week of September 21, 2026

Lyfta and Runalyze for everyone, a new way to connect multiple accounts and headless agents, stronger mobile sync recovery and easier account switching.

A warm welcome to the 708 new members who joined freddy last week. Here’s what changed:

In short

  • Lyfta and Runalyze are now open to everyone in freddy.
  • A new (sorta) way to connect to freddy.
  • Mobile 1.0.15 improves Apple Health and Health Connect sync recovery.
  • AI reconnects now show the signed-in account and let you switch.

Lyfta and Runalyze are open to everyone

Lyfta and Runalyze have moved out of beta. You can now connect either source from the Sources page without joining a waitlist. This makes both connections part of the standard source catalog for every freddy account.

Lyfta connects with an API key from Lyfta API Access. Runalyze connects with a personal API token. Runalyze requires a Supporter or Premium account because its API access comes from that service.

A new (sorta) way to connect to freddy

Direct connection links now make two things possible: connect multiple freddy accounts to the same AI client, and connect headless agents or other clients that cannot open a browser sign-in.

Every account has a private link in Settings on the web and in the app. Reveal or copy it when needed, rotate it if it should stop working, and keep it private like a password.

Mobile 1.0.15 improves health sync recovery

Apple Health re-imports now show honest progress while recent data continues to move. The app keeps the phone awake during the foreground walk, which makes a long re-import less likely to stop before it finishes. Current days remain available while older history catches up.

Health Connect now recovers better from interruptions and unreadable records. One record that Android cannot read no longer has to freeze the rest of a changes feed or prevent a re-import from finishing. Daily activity totals are also more consistent on supported Android versions.

Update to freddy 1.0.15 from the App Store or Google Play to use these mobile changes.

Reconnect with the account you want

When you reconnect an AI app, freddy now shows which account is signed in before you continue. Choose Continue to use that account, or choose Use another account to switch first. This makes the account choice explicit before the AI app receives access.

Signing out on the reconnect page now clears the server session. The next sign-in starts with the account you choose instead of silently returning to the previous session.
