What's new in freddy: week of May 11, 2026
Here is what shipped in freddy during the week of May 11. It was a big week for new sources: three of them, plus a simpler way to sign in and a handful of fixes that make your history more complete.
Three new data sources
freddy can now connect to three more sources, all in private beta:
- Garmin Connect, the most-requested source, covering activities, sleep, and recovery.
- Wahoo, for rides and workouts.
- Concept2 Logbook, for rowing, SkiErg, and BikeErg.
All three are in beta. You can request access from your dashboard.
A simpler way to sign in
freddy now signs you in with a six-digit code sent to your email, instead of a magic link. Typing a code back into the same browser avoids the problem magic links had on phones, where the link opened in the email app's browser rather than the one you started in.
Ask about any stretch of your history
The query tool now takes explicit start and end dates, so your AI client (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and others) can ask about any window of your data, not just the most recent days.
Fixes
- Connecting freddy through Perplexity now works without the sign-up hiccups some people hit.
- Withings sleep now includes stage durations, and body temperature comes through.
More next week.
